In life, there is a first time for everything. First time you came to this world, first time to eat, first time to school and so on.
This blog was born long time ago, but today is a first for this blog. The first time a blog is posted.
This period marks a first for me too. Having been trained as a software engineer, all I have done since graduating is code. Code and more code. From next month, my life is taking another course, a shift in my day to day activities. Its not like I have coded for long, neither am I abandoning code entirely, its just that code won't be the bread winning activity.
I've had my moments. Nothing can be compared with the joy of implementing an integrated HR solution that I coded from scratch. Nothing.
I take pleasure in helping organizations utilize IT to achieve the bottom line, and it is to this end that I will be moving to manage the IT services in a certain organization. Its a tough decision, but one had to be made.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, its good to appreciate there is a first time for everything. Don't be afraid; take the step, take the leap. Whatever it is that you want to do and achieve in life will involve a first time.
So go on, experience your first time.
